No School Today

Are you awake? I ask. He barely moves his head And I panic thinking he's dead. But he is all right. It's only school he wants to avoid. So he'll play sick And I will be thick. I often wonder what's it about. Whether it's the school he doesn't like. Or if he's lazy and can't be bothered to learn Or if he'd rather work and earn. It's hard to know What your kids are feeling. And it's stressful for us When they don't want to get up and catch the bus. What can we do to make them get up? Throw water... Sign in to see full entry.
