I can honestly say that it is possible to see snow in Cyprus. Where you might ask! In Troodos Mountains. Ski or sledging on the snow filled mountains is one of the best activities in Cyprus. In Paphos today, it is in the 70 F range, so you might not believe the fact that you can get snow in Cyprus whilst it is this warm. But it is true. I have noticed that flights to Cyprus this time of year are much more expensive than flights to either Spain, Malta, Tenerife or the Gran Canary Islands and even Portugal. I don't know why this is, but I wish it would get a little more cheaper for at least seven nights. A flight to Paphos in Cyprus is four and half hours from the UK. To Tenerife and the Gran Canary or Lanzarote it is four hours. Spain is two and half hours and I thought that was why Spain might be cheaper, but Tenerife is cheap... Sign in to see full entry.

My brother lives in Cyprus and he has told me that Paphos is still very warm compared to England. Today in Paphos it is 70F. England is 50F. I was in Paphos in August and the heat was unbearable, but it's the hottest month of all there. Last week it rained and they did have some windy weather, but it was about 68F during the day.
