I think that I am moving to Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, next December, 2010

While visiting Guadalajara this past week, my sister took me on a nostalgic ride back to Chapala and Ajijic. They have both grown by leaps and bounds and are looking more American and Canadian daily. I have spent the last month painting chairs for charity auctions and

doing some clay and cleaning house and staying in bed. I had thought that two of El Centro's holidays were going to be exclusively mine to crow about and promote in the media, but plans there change and never get finalized in a timely manner and frustration sets in. New prototypes for the reproducers of my artwork and a trip to New Mexico.

I have been invited to make new pieces, and I am thinking mostly Native American dancers from the Pueblo tribes, of New Mexico, some others, too, from my area here. Painting for charity auctions and free publicity...

I was handed a chair and painted it for a local.org for their charity auction in September. La Pilita here in Tucson.
