When Fall comes, I bring in the plants for the winter, exchange clothing in the shed from summer clothing packages to winter, turn on the gas heater, close windows, put on long underwear and bring out the doggie blankets to cover up the pooches while they slumber on the futon. I keep this house cold because I cannot afford warm.
