I really did. I pigged out. Don't get to do that very often. Or, might I say, I don't allow myself to do that very often....! It was rather pleasant, I might add.

Thank you Darson, I hope you had a great Thankgiving as well.

Posted by Tzippy on November 26, 2009 at 8:06 PM

Nice to see you, Zippy! How are you? I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving, my friend!

Just checking in to see who is here, sneaking into the cafe instead of working, but its a delightful crowd, I am glad I stopped by. I be back at night so feel free to post

Myato...it is a very small cafe, indeed...but sometimes the chatter of just a few can be quite poignant. Welcome.

Posted by Darson on November 25, 2009 at 1:58 PM

Welcome to Blogit Myato! It's one of the strangest cafés in the world, but from time to time people drop by and leave messages, ask questions and sometimes read the replies. I hope you enjoy your life in Blogitland.

Posted by elinjo on November 25, 2009 at 10:39 AM

Empty space to sit with my own thoughts and contemplate connection, familiar.

Posted by Myato on November 25, 2009 at 8:28 AM

Small cafe, what am I doing here?

Posted by Myato on November 25, 2009 at 8:20 AM

Tzip...clarify? 'what am I doing here'?

Posted by Darson on November 25, 2009 at 8:09 AM

darson, I am touched by your words, but what am i doing here?

Posted by Tzippy on November 24, 2009 at 10:08 PM

Happy Tuesday, officially my favorite day today:) maybe tomorrow wed. will become my favorite day. I just read turkey jokes you have to check it out, its a glorious blue sky day here and I just love that.

Posted by Tzippy on November 24, 2009 at 11:40 AM

Tzippy: I think that's the curse of most writer-types...we are dramatic by nature. It's what makes people want to read what we write, instead of, say, an enclyclopedia collection.

Posted by Darson on November 24, 2009 at 6:35 AM

Darson lol you are too cute and you are too right I now find myself fighting the urge to spit out a white lie, didnt even realize I was doing it, but here it is :) I shall prevail

Posted by Tzippy on November 23, 2009 at 7:27 PM

It, in my opinion, would have been extremely useful to those that grew up to be pathological liars to have been 'nipped in the bud', early on...a mother's tongue lashing, or whatever lashing was needed to get the little critter to stop spinning his (or her) webs of deception. I was caught in a few as a youth...and it was rather...er...painful. But I got the message. Nowadays I just exaggerate the heck outta stuff. It gives you almost the same thrill....! Ha ha ha....!

Posted by Darson on November 23, 2009 at 6:32 PM

yES, Darson, I think it begins to take shape when we are very young, sometimes it is innocent pretending that turns into pathological lies, who know, I dont know what happen to Morrow, he wont answer my emails, does not post any more, I hope he is ok, if anyone know please let us know. question of this week: What can each of us do to make people stop telling lies? should we call them on it, punish them, or what?

Posted by Tzippy on November 23, 2009 at 6:23 PM

Yes, Tzippy, that's exactly it...some chronic liars can't keep track of what they've said from one person to the next, and that's what trips them up. I've known some people that lie uneccessarily...something as silly as 'I wear contact lenses'...when they, in fact, do not. Why waste a good fib, I ask you? It's weird. Must be true of those in the 'pathological' category. I used to tell ExMan he couldn't tell the truth to save his life. I still believe that, and it's sad. I wonder where it all gets started? Childhood? (I'm sure). And regarding Ryan Morrow; he was a pretty good writer... Do you know anything more of his whereabouts at this point? He was extremely expressive.

to skye08 it was adorable and made me smile, so it was well worth it Happy thanksgiving to everyone, I am going to a real fancy country cloub for a special thanksgiving. Just another plesant surprise

Posted by Tzippy on November 22, 2009 at 10:55 AM

to Tzippy re thanksgiving smiley. No it is not my voice. I got it from smiley central.

Posted by skye08 on November 22, 2009 at 10:13 AM

Does anyone know what happen to Ryan Morrow? he has disapeared...

Posted by Tzippy on November 22, 2009 at 8:37 AM

do you find that people lie over the stupid things that makes you loose respect for them, when telling the truth would have made you respect them. Also, they forget their lie and that is how you catch them.

Posted by Tzippy on November 22, 2009 at 12:18 AM

They are afraid they'll lose the love and respect of others, were the truth found out. Funny but the actual lying usually creates that, not the deed. I told my ExMan that is wasn't all of the misdeeds that hurt me the most; it was the lying....and ultimately it's why I left him...if you don't have honesty in the relationship; you don't have anything.

Posted by Darson on November 21, 2009 at 8:15 PM

Question for this week Why do people lie? even small white lies, why cant we be honest even if we may hurt someone's feelings?

Posted by Tzippy on November 21, 2009 at 9:55 AM

Blogit is a great way to express your opinion and experience and to learn about "others," I just love you guys, faults and qualities, and I want to thank you for reading and commenting on my writing, and for sharing your writings. this thanksgiving I truely have so much to be thankful for and you guys are up there on top of my list, of course my complaining kids are up on top of that even though my oldest never stops complaining, I wonder if one day she may stop, but it doesnt look that way. Happy thanksgiving and again Many thanks :)

Posted by Tzippy on November 21, 2009 at 6:41 AM

They're children; that's their job. It's what they do! Mine are experts....Masters of their Field, so to speak. Big, large teenagers and they still whine and pout....nothing like their angel mother who NEVER complains or gets moody....! (That's a laugh!)

Posted by Darson on November 19, 2009 at 5:51 PM

Darson you had replied to me and i didn't even notice....sorry!!

Posted by susielo2k9 on November 19, 2009 at 11:18 AM

Why do children have to kick off everytime something doesn't go the way they want?? And we must they give us as parents all the crap?

Posted by susielo2k9 on November 19, 2009 at 11:16 AM

WE don't ignore you! WE're perfect! Ha ha ha! (Yeah, RIGHT!) So Sugar Kane, you're in on the bah-humbugging with me? Being very religious, I can celebrate this holiday year-round...no need to blow my cash on a designated date...although who am I kidding? I will! The best Christmas I ever had was the first year I got seperated from the kids dad. We had a dollar-store Christmas. The four of us sat around the tree, and I gave a little speech. Then the oldest spoke for all the kids, and thanked me for moving them out of the home, for leaving their ill-tempered dad, and for loving them. Could there BE a better gift? I think that's what the Season is really all about. Love.

Posted by Darson on November 19, 2009 at 10:22 AM

Hackthorne19.Perhaps the best way of picking bones with people on Blogit is to send them a mail. It's depressing when people ignore what you've written. On the other hand just think of the people who don't ignore you.

Posted by elinjo on November 19, 2009 at 8:15 AM

Bittersweet about Christmas. I love the holiday but working in retail makes me want to say 'Yay, Christmas' with great sarcasm. Also, one point that everyone should understand. This is a community. We all write about something, even more basic than that we all write. I'm glad that I get readers that share my point of view and when I do it makes me want to read their work. Be nice, it's good for you.

Posted by sugar_kane on November 19, 2009 at 5:30 AM

Tzippy: Thanks for the advice. You are, of course, quite correct, I shouldn't let one blogger ruin my day. I suppose it is because this particular blogger is from the same hometown as myself in New Zealand and I therefore want the woman to cast Kiwi's in a good light. But again, you're right, to hell with it. Darson: thanks for your response also. You also may be right when you wrote that the woman perhaps doesn't realize that it is nice to send comments. However, I suspect she is just writing and not reading. Whether this is because of ignorance or arrogance - who knows. I'll not let it get me down. Thank you people.

lol, I may want to put the cat back in, but as they say when the tongue unleashes it is unleashed forever.

Posted by Tzippy on November 18, 2009 at 7:55 PM

You might be a bit too specific...but it's too late now, lady! The cat's outta the bag! :)

Posted by Darson on November 18, 2009 at 6:07 PM

ok enough talking to myself, go to go talk to my dog now

Posted by Tzippy on November 18, 2009 at 5:55 PM

elinjo, I am having the same problems, so i just did an online picture tour. that worked for me

Posted by Tzippy on November 18, 2009 at 5:55 PM

Darson, :) do you think California is too specific or is it big enough for me to be safe, or should I just say I am in the west coast?

Posted by Tzippy on November 18, 2009 at 5:54 PM

susielo2k9 welcome to blogit I hope you like it here, most of us are very friendly, but i guess there is always an exeption to every thing. Christmas I used to hate it for many years, as of two years ago i officially love it.

Posted by Tzippy on November 18, 2009 at 5:53 PM

hackthorne19, no need to gripe, yes of course it would be nice to receive reciprocation, however, it is not mandatory, just move to other friendly bloggers whom would be happy to read your blog as well. :)

Posted by Tzippy on November 18, 2009 at 5:48 PM

If Kiwichezza is reading this "cafe" gripe then I hope you take heed. You're suppose to reciprocate with the reading of blogs. In other words, we'll read you, but must read us. Has anyone else noticed this? Now don't get me wrong, I'm not out to attack the woman in anyway, however I've read her blogs and commented and have received zip from her. This is not to suggest my blogs are important reads, however reciprocation is the name of the game here on Blogit, is it not?

Posted by Hackthorne19 on November 17, 2009 at 2:30 PM

Yes, welcome Susielo2k9...sorry I didn't add that in my last post. We're not really THAT unfriendly! Hope you enjoy the Blogits as much as I do. And elinjo I agree with you about that figure part...with everyone shoving all kinds of food at you!...what's a girl to do? Go running for like....TWO YEARS, that's what...because that's how long it would take to burn it all back off. Like I said, Bah....well, you know the rest...

Posted by Darson on November 17, 2009 at 9:06 AM

Christmas? Bad for your figure and good for boosting the national economy. Welcome to Blogit susielo2k9

Posted by elinjo on November 17, 2009 at 4:24 AM

Ba Humbug!....Just Kidding! I like it. I can't afford it, but I like it! Especially if it snows; that means skiing on Christmas day, which is the best thing ever....

Posted by Darson on November 16, 2009 at 5:23 PM

how many of you like Christmas?

Posted by susielo2k9 on November 16, 2009 at 3:39 PM

hi all, i'm a little newbie on this so if any one has any tips please..

Posted by susielo2k9 on November 16, 2009 at 3:38 PM

Tzippy; I am hesitant to get too specific, but I am near California. So I guess you didn't stay in NY...And I found the man of my dreams at church...after looking for one everywhere BUT there. It was purely by accident. The ExMan was a blind date...so, in my case, I would not recommend this. One of those buyer-beware deals.

Posted by Darson on November 16, 2009 at 6:35 AM

Hallo Tzippy, thanks for your comment. Yes, I've tried adding embedment links, in the same way as I would do with pictures, but it does not work. I wrote a mail to Blogit support and am waiting for their reply.

Posted by elinjo on November 16, 2009 at 5:35 AM

I am finally ready to meet and get to know a man. Took a while, but now i dont know where to go to meet anyone

Posted by Tzippy on November 14, 2009 at 9:24 PM

you are sooooooooooo funny, I am in California and that is west, are you in California? cause ther aint no cabin fever here. are you in the united states? what state? Oregon? Question for this week: Where do you go to find the man of your dreams?

Posted by Tzippy on November 14, 2009 at 1:32 PM

The Western states...where cabin fever runs rampant and might become an epidemic...!

Posted by Darson on November 14, 2009 at 1:40 AM

Darson, what part of the world are you in.
