There is something to be learned by dealing with your pain. You learn to be stronger, but you also learn to be more faithful to your spouse/loved ones and to God.
I consider myself extremely fortunate in this life. If you don't know sadness, you'll never understand happiness. If you don't feel pain, you'll never appreciate good health. I've witnessed horrible things, but because of the horror, I understand goodness.
Everything is 'point of view.' As I said above, you won't know goodness if you've never experienced badness. I've seen a lot of beauty because I have seen ugliness.

Pat, I'm not sure if you read much, if any, of that romance story when I was posting it here or after I was only posting it on Vella, but if I was forced to confess, you are right. The story is based on the relationship I had with Judy and the relationship I have with Lisa. Some parts of it were part of my life with Judy, and others are from my life with Lisa. I have said multiple times that I have been blessed with two wonderful ladies in my life. God has been good to me.

I don't know that any fictional romance could possibly top the
love story you're living. It is so heartwarming to read about your communications, the way you are so in sync and working each for the other in a very conscious way. No doubt your romance story will take shape quickly once you're able to concentrate on it. Peace.

Your muse just took a small break what with all the health troubles and then the house wrecked just when you were getting comfortable, any Muse would disappear for a bit. My muse is back but just with a bit of fun stuff. I am writing it in here first draught. jim has little grandchildren as well as older ones but altho. we never see the little guys I suppose I am writing this story for them for Mommy or Daddy to read to them when they get older. I will have to illustrate the book which will be fun.
