So sorry to hear you got hit so badly by it. I hope you get power soon and are both safe and well. We had our own hurricane/tropical storm here and sustained 4 grand worth of damage.

The city of Madison is nearly destroyed. We have repair trucks from Texas. George, Louis, Mississippi., Alabama, and South Carolina here working on restoring power. Even with I'm told we might not have power until Monday.
We are safe and we have the ability to take hot showers and cook food.
I have a romance story in progress on Vella and I fully intend on working what we have gone through in the past three days into that story.

Oh my! It seems you were at the worst point. Jacksonville didn't experience much except high winds in some areas and spotty rain. We are okay and no need to worry.

What a mess, but luckily the two of you are intact. The reports on this
storm say it was the worst in a hundred years in your neck of the woods. Fingers crossed it will be another century before another one hits. I worried all night and during the day Wednesday over this storm and the danger folks were in. Relieved to hear you're safe now and will soon be getting the power back on.

Wow! You got hit hard but thankfully you are okay. It's going to take some time to get everything cleaned up and back to normal. The wind must have been really strong to take down 21 of your trees. Do you know the wind speed?
