Writing anything makes me happy. On a good day, I might be able to write for two hours of the day. I write because I love doing so. The fact that it makes me money is completely secondary to writing. I have been actively writing since I was seven. I didn't make any money from it until ~ 2010. I did it because it makes me happy. It still makes me happy, and I try to write at least an hour every day.
Right now, I'm writing, sitting in my living room in front of the fan while my wife is watching a movie on Sling-TV. I've seen the movie several times, so I can listen to it in the background while I am writing. Writing has never been a task for me. It makes me feel good!

Enjoying your life is what it should be all about. Not needing to be ultra rich, working 8 days a week, and tell yourself it makes you happy
