Hello, Glad you are persevering. The sun does seem to burn, of course, we have never bothered about air conditioning more used to grumbling about how cold and miserable it is. I have been struggling with a new computer Windows 11. I honestly think OAPs should try and get accustomed to it or use a laptop. Well, not a brainy subject like yourself perhaps. Still losing money on the shares a good job I kept a piece of land, but I would never sell until I needed to give up the garden. Archie has two hundred Dahlies to look after. I wonder about Ghosts. I have smelled that flowery scent. Makes one wonder. keep smiling.

That sounds like an interesting series, one in which I have not heard about.

Our temp is still at 90 degrees at 9:30 p.m. We usually run just about the same as your place. Summer is definitely upon us.

oooh, I really liked POLDARK, the first series quite a few years ago now. The casting was fabulous, especially Jud Paynter. Is that the one you have?

The first day of summer here is relatively mild - upper 80s - a bit
cloudy, but the rain we need isn't due for some time. Crazy how some are getting flash floods and downpours, and others are in drought conditions. I hope you enjoy your Poldark series - the nice thing is you can re-run it any time you're in the mood for historical drama. There used to be a lot of coal mining in this area, but I think they were all mined out about 75 or 100 years ago. I water my plants every other day unless it rains, but my gardening is much less a project than yours - and instead of gnomes I've got frog and turtle figures, and wind chimes decorated with butterflies.
