Good afternoon
Your mother sounds like the kind that all of the kids would have called mom. I believe that mothers just have that special knack for knowing things about their kids, and that kind of instinct is amazing.

table with, and laugh over things kids get into... I was never a perfect mom - but my kids have taught me a lot about life and love, etc... so it worked out.

I think the mothers often run things, when the men are not the martinet, God-Made-Me-First type. And truly, women of all ages, even girls, have the Mother in them, just as men of any age always have some of the boy in them!

Oh yes! We had a wonderful Mother that we loved so very much and to this day greatly miss (All seven of us). She could get snappy when she needed to.
