Re: Sherri G,

The early warm days tease the buds into opening, and then... WHAMMO! hard freeze for three days!

Re: Kabu,

50s are nice this time of year. It's 23 outside now--but cozy in the house. So looking forward to 70s next week!

Re: Pat B,

It is in fact snowing at this very moment... but it isn't expected to last through tomorrow, and it will be warming up again by the weekend. Like a yoyo! I'd rather a blizzard than tornado threats, though! Especially at night!

When I lived in Michigan, we had snow in May.  Have a terrific week.

Good afternoon

Here in Pittsburgh, we know better than to plant flowers, shrubs, and trees until after Mother's Day. It is the defining holiday that we can normally feel safe from frost. However, it has been known to snow here all the way up until summer. Mother Nature can be a fickle lady.

It sounds like your weekend was a good time and worth the work.

As for the wind, dust, etc., the Weather Channel is predicting more winter for the northern states, I believe including Colorado - while very warm temps are pushing up our chances for tornadoes in the midwest. Crazy?

Re: Goldiec,

On this occasion we stayed in the hotel that hosted the event. It's 80 miles up the road from home.  The venue used to be half that distance and we'd usually just go home and come back the next day. I like the ones best that are in the Springs!

Good Morning

I'm so glad you and Charlie had a good time.  I'm also glad Charlie's bears found new homes.  When you go to these events where do you stay?
