That must have been wonderful traveling all over the country.

I suppose it was a way of life explore after the work was done. Did ever want to go searching for gold? Watching the tele., there were a lot of gold miners.

I like living close to home, too. It's familiar...Those vactions during the school year are nice.

Good morning

What a fun childhood you had with all of that traveling. You had awesome parents! We love traveling by car, and we do it at least twice a year. We did the same thing with our three girls who also have the travel bug. Geography and history are fun subjects when you learn about the firsthand by actually seeing and being there. We have been across the United States six times now. We have never made it across the pond, but we have visited Mexico and Canada. We have five states to go to complete our bucket list on places to visit.

Knowing you, I'm kinda wondering if the teacher also had a vacation, just because you were gone on yours?

Good Morning

Kabu, your vacations sound so nice to me.  It sounds like you had a very nice family.

I know it wasn't always idyllic because childhood never is--but I enjoy the idyllic parts you share here!
