Thanks, Pat. You made me laugh. Yeah... I understand what you mean. It's dropped to 37 now with a steady 25-35 mph wind out of the north. Seven years in the UP not far from Lake Superior taught me what winter is all about.
Stay safe and as warm as possible. My wife isn't feeling well (nothing serious) and she is lounging in our bedroom where it is toasty warm, watching movies.

Best of luck with this cathartic exercise. It's a shame it can't just be
a wildly creative fiction, but bad (the worst) stuff happens - I hope this helps. Stay warm. I have trouble feeling bad about 43 degrees (Florida or not) when the high for the day here is to be about 6 with chill factors way below zero. With apologies for wallowing in my own misery... hope your day is productive.
