All I can say is AMEN.
As I said, we didn't look for problems because if you look for problems, you will try to find them.
Neither of us has felt uncomfortable in this neighborhood. The two of us will usually go for a walk together, but if I get hung up on the phone as so frequently happens, Lisa has no qualms about doing her walking alone. Everyone in the neighborhood knows her, and I had one of the men tell me he and several of his friends watch for her, both on her way out and her way home.
I was raised that until someone shows me otherwise, I will treat them kindly and friendly.

Dear friend, my next door neighbor is one of the nicest people in the USA. Don't see a lot of her, she is busy minding the dearest little dolly girl who runs to me for kisses. hand blown to each other of course. They are a black family and one of the nicest families I have ever lived next to. think you are blessed to live in a black neighborhood, I find them all much nicer than most whites.
