I have heard of this new therapy for the brain. It stops depression. I don't know if it will work for parkinsons but since it affects the brain...ask your doctor about it. It's covered by insurance. Fischer Wallace stimulator.

There is a speech to text on Windows 10 as you know. I expect Dragon is more sophisticated I used to use it but not being into stories I kind of drifted away from it.
Life is cruel at times, but thank goodness you have true grit.

Re: Perhaps in addition to medical procedures & advanced prescriptions
I'm working the cost of the Dragon speech-to-text ($500!) into our next budget.
The PD causes more problems beyond the tremors. My left arm feels like I grabbed onto a hot eclectic wire and held it for several minutes all the time. It has that "Twilight Zone" tingling sensation all the time and it drives me crazy. It doesn't respond to Gabapentin, a medication designed to stop such sensations. It has begun to interrupt my sleep, and the wife is thinking about getting her own bed so I am not hitting her (accidentally... most of the time!) and interrupting her sleep.
From everything I have read about this surgery, it is relatively side effect free. If I can get a GOOD doctor to do the two required surgeries, I am going to try it.

Perhaps in addition to medical procedures & advanced prescriptions
you might think about getting speech recognition software so you can tell your stories rather than type them.
