I suppose some people get worried about losing inheritances they were sure they'd be getting when someone new shows up in their elder relative's life. I imagine there will be some family discussions where the nasty ones will get slammed for their attitudes.

Good afternoon
I am so sorry that you experienced a nasty situation that you did not deserve. Some people are just naturally inclined to make other people miserable. You are the better person to have up and left. Good for you. As for those storms, we had tornado warnings while in D.C., but by the grace of God, they calmed down and allowed for us to enjoy our trip, injury free.

Kabu, I'm so sorry things were not pleasant for you when you were visiting with family. This makes me very sad for you. I'm sure that Jim was upset that you had to go through this. We are having a nice Memorial Day. Roy had the western channel on this morning and there was a movie called Maverick on. I missed the first part but then I sat down to watch it. I really enjoyed watching the western. It was funny. The movie was three hours long and I think I saw two hours of it. It's funny how sometimes you enjoy something that you had no idea you were even going to watch. I hope your day is good!

I'm sorry you had to experience that nasty business - such things
are really hard to take and in my experience, it's pointless. I hope some day soon they will build bridges over their troubled water. Families are complicated sometimes. You and Jim make each other happy, that's the guiding star.
