Graysome pussy cat really has no idea how wonderful his inside life is and with all the eay to see out of windows here he isn't missing out at all.

A wander-cat like that is sometimes best: you don't have to clean a cat box! And, speaking as an elderly lady, it's quite nice to be found useful by a cat!

Oooh, I forgot about the dill! Charlie likes pickles in it, but I don't. However, a dab of dijon mustard can be very interesting. Onion bagels would be lovely! I'd slice them and turn them in-side up, slap the tuna salad on top and maybe some cheese, and put them under the broiler just enough to bubble the cheese or brown the salad! We do that on ritz crackers for a canapé sometimes.

Ciel the cat I adopted only visits me for meals. It is obvious that has found new lodgings. It does deign to stay for a while under the infrared heater but I guess it has found a couch to sleep on in some elderly ladies' home. It even looks at me differently a kind of non-recognition.

I remember extreme cold hitting here in beautiful downtown Mundane
several years ago, and maybe a couple days of it last year. Maybe it's the Covid isolation we've been dealing with, the sense of oppression, but this winter just seems colder and nastier and less tolerable than any I can remember. It is wonderful to read that you were able to feast a bit and enjoy family in spite of adverse conditions.

That is some seriously amped-up tuna salad. I love really good tuna salad on rye bread or lightly toasted onion bagels. I always add celery seed, dill weed, parsley, lemon pepper, green onions, pickle relish, celery, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper to mine. Good stuff!
