I'm late reading you today as I'm often late reading everyone.  when I'm on my night shift after a long afternoon nap.  What a trip with a fallen tree.  Glad no one is hurt.

hey you have every right to feel down when the miseries descend. I certainly have been less than good company the last couple of days which I think must be a cold. hugs love and all the best to your girls.

Good Afternoon

Pat, I'm so glad your girls are okay.  We were snowed in this morning with over a foot of snow.  We had to call someone to come and plow the driveway.  It was way too deep.  I thought we were going to get snow but not this deep.  We are toasty warm in the house but outside is a different story.  My daughter's cars are totally snowed in but Roy got the truck out in case we have to go out.  A little while ago the wind was picking up but it's slowed down now.  Stay warm and safe.

Good afternoon

You can't get much worse than a huge tree blocking the only way out. That would really suck unless you were completely stocked up and have nowhere to be. Then, it might be a blessing as you would have total peace and quiet away from the world and all of the troubles happening in it. Hope that you feel better.

Nothing like being tree'd in under 7 inches or even more of snow out in your almost-rustic cabin! Must have been a little scary for her until other people showed up!

Here's hopes you are feeling better on all fronts!

Glad to hear they're both okay! Both of my boys are out there driving in this storm - the youngest coming back from his hunting camp way up north, and the oldest out delivering for FEDEX, with his route being strictly rural routes. He's waiting on the call from the oncologist this morning, but we're wondering if the doctor can even reach the hospital. We are all used to driving in snow, but the visibility with this wind is close to zero. This mama will be sitting on pins and needles most of the day, I'm thinking.

P.S. Talked to my daughter, all is well in blizzard country.

Turns out there's a property manager on the job, he's got a crew scheduled to take out the fallen tree tomorrow as the roads are cleared and they can get access, and my DIL is not all alone in the middle of the woods - there are neighbors not too far who have been out walking their dogs in the area. Big sigh of relief, as I talked to Robin - she's also A-OK and taking time to help a client today.  Be safe and well everyone.
