Re: adnohr,

Not entirely. I liked the books too much to appreciate some of Peter Jackson's creative choices. Especially how he re-interpreted some of the characters.

You didn't like the Lord of the Rings movies?

Re: CCT,

I am on my second one, after the first went all senile and wouldn't respond anymore, or would maybe answer a couple of minutes after the request.

Mine is the little one, the basic model. I don't look after it at all except to be reasonably polite.

Re: Pat,

I have heard that name!

I see he wrote "Younger Than Springtime" from South Pacific. I once saw Mandy Patinkin performing that for the soundtrack album, and it was amazing how his face changed as he sang, all sweet and tender--then when he finished, that all went away, and he was just himself again.

Well, our Alexa has hit the dust. You obviously look after yours better. I think I can hear yours through this blog though. Well, imagine it.

Those you mentioned - Star Wars, etc. I liked "Sound of Music" and

some of the other oldies. Does the name Nelson Riddle strike a bell with you?
