Lo, Dearie Sorry I have not been back, I just seem to have run out of time.

It has been so dry here and as we are on the site of a stone quarry the ground just drains. We have 200 dahlia plants. The apples are falling off the trees through a lack of moisture. I hate ivy the only place I let it roam is up a hawthorn tree because it gives shelter to the birds in Winter. Otherwise, it is a damn nuisance. I did not like top email you as I thought you had to settle in. Keep yer chin up.

I hear you - my body can predict the weather much better than the weather stations! As for Texas, it is so outrageous that one has to wonder if it's not a ploy to divert attention while something worse is happening behind the scenes.

I have yet to reach a point where my body is going to tell me what the weather is going to do.

I can relate on both topics

Weather pain is unbearable. Payne and Agnus show up and party, party. I resort to pain medication and a margarita and electric blanket and essential oils and CBD oil. I hope youe pain subsides soon. We had our bathoom remolded 2 years ago. Supposed to take a week. Took 3 months. Poor peaches had to be closed up in the bedroom all day so she wouldn't run to the road and chase cars. They were in and out so much the door was left open.

Yes, taliban texas has taken us back to medevil times. Morality cannot be legislated. As a nurse, I have had to watch 15yo  girl brain dead on ventilator die because she took a drug someone told her would induce an abortion. Women and girls  bleeding to death from a botched back alley abortion or dying from sepsis. Then there is homelessness, abuse, and increase mortality of pregnancy.

A question, if a pregnant woman calls her GOP representive for advice on the pregnancy, can the staffer who took the call and the representative be sued for 10000.00? Since rape and incest is not a reason for an abortion, can the father be sued?

Good Evening

I hope your bathroom gets fixed soon.  I think anytime work needs to be done around the house it's best to call licensed companies.  I know when we had to have all our electricity upgraded I actually called the Illuminating Company and they put me in touch with a very reputable company.  They upgraded our whole system including the garage. Then the county came out for an inspection and we passed with flying colors.    I'm very thankful for that.  It was expensive but well worth it.  I hope your back and legs feel better soon.  I think the weather can play havoc with us.  My allergies have really been acting up and I think it's because of our weather.  Enjoy your new home!

Ivy or mice. Don't want either one on or about my house.

As for the plumber - if he's licensed he should be able to do any and every part of the work needed to get your system functional, and if he cannot do the job "in a workmanlike manner," that info needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau as well as the state licensing board.  Not a good idea to hire unlicensed craftsmen in any of the building trades, even though it might cost more that a jack of all trades independent.

Good afternoon

Rain has that way of causing aches and pains in our bones. Ivy is lovely, but it is the ruination of many a home. Ivy weakens brick, ruins painted surfaces, and plays hell on wood structures by creeping in on wooden weak spots. It is best kept in gardens and away from sheds, garages, and homes.
