Thanks for your good wishes. I'm afraid she might have to make the horrid trip tomorrow if there is not a visible sign of recovery. If it's an infection of some kind, she will need antibiotics, and that means an actual determination by a vet.

Hmmm - love cats until they need medical attention and/or medication. It's soooo much easier with a dog! They can be fooled with treats or, even if not agreeable, will attempt to please their human if their human insists. Cat's tend to give us the proverbial 'bird' if things are not to their liking! Hoping Amber if feeling better!!

The mayo is required for her basic liquid medication which is chicken flavored. She wants chicken salad flavor!

I cannot help but laugh at Ember's opposition to the mayonnaise-laced medication. I can just see her surly kitty cat face now.

I have fond memories of Miss Katt, the foundling my little girl rescued
on the condition that she could only stay long enough for us to find a home for her. It was after my daughter had gone off to college, after I retired, and Miss Katt was still there, looking after me as I did yard work. I hope Embers is feeling 100% good again by the end of the day.
