We could all use a "Trish" boost.
There are those rare people in our lives that just seem to make everything a little bit better. I have been ignoring the news. It truly is exhausting to watch. Happier times are just around the corner.

Re: Corbin
Well I am proud to support Anti Facist ideals. I have been so all my life. I was born at the end of the war in '45 and have been reminded at every mile stone of years....yes 20-20 was 75 years, since facism was destroyed in Europe. I havetrouble understanding anyone with ancestors who fought facism and to try to keep our World free for all people.

It was never going to accomplish anything but a day of mayhem: they got inside and made a mess, but they didn't have a clue what to do after that. They were an acting-out of Trump's tantrum, echoing his delusions, his incompetence and ineptitude, and his carelessness of others' lives. In fact, their actions accomplished the opposite of Trump's intent.

The world has lost confidence in the once great country. Sad - in such a short time too.

Re: And it's still not over....
This reads like a threat. I hope I am mistaken.

I too watched with a heavy heart.
This was overkill in every sense of the word. I have never been an advocate of violence. It never ends well. I am also praying for a peaceful resolution.

Talk about a day that will live in infamy...
I pray you are right, Kabu, that this wound to our sense of security will heal.

It all kept me glued to the t.v. on one station or another. I'm so glad it is over.
