Re: Pat,

I have so many memories, sweet and winsome... I was there in my 20s, before I'd made most of the mistakes of my life, but had gotten a start.

Re: sassyass,

I lived there 40 years ago for about 5 years and lived on campus and then a few blocks away, on the edge of Little Italy. After that, 35 years or so in western Washington state, near Puget sound. Now, a few years in Colorado Springs.

Cleveland is Goldie's neck of the woods. Are you neighbors?

We are just a stone's throw away in Pittsburgh. Memories like these are real keepers.

A most interesting post and yes I said a little prayer for that preacher who prayed up a little breeze. Would have loved to have seen the look on the face of everyone around when the breeze sprang into life.

What do lions eat in Paradise? 'Grass,' she replied.

So much in one post - the senseless destruction (attempt) of art,

the street preachers.  Very interesting.
