I know a lot of pills make one feel different at times. Something one has to put up with I guess.

Re: sassyass,

The pharmacist I talked with yesterday said something about blood-pressure meds having this effect, too, as they dilate blood vessels to lower blood pressure. I think hereafter, anyway, I will take the vits during the day, not before bed.

Re: Pat,

I had it once before, so at least I had some idea what was happening, though not why.

I know what you mean about these little assaults--like the 'trigger finger' that is still a daily annoyance.

Re: Kabu,

Not always a healthy eater... and I don't take the vitamins all that often, just the one multivitamin tablet now and then. I take extra potassium when I start to feel muscle weakness just walking around. Statins did that, too, but I dropped those! The rest are required meds that I can spread out but not drop.

More sunset coming later today!

Re: Sea Gypsy,

I talked to a pharmacist yesterday, and that was his suggestion, too--to split the daily dose into smaller bits.

Re: Goldiec,

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them--there are more on the way from last night's sunset. Raining in Cleveland...? Of course it is!

Re: adnohr,

Could be... I am now going to be splitting them between morning and evening.

I have some new ones--another gorgeous sunset last night! Just have to edit and load them to flickr.

Love the photos.

I have had that hot feeling from preservatives in food. I have a low tolerance for a few. It is not fun. I also take a multi-vitamin before bed, so thank you for the warning.

I've never heard of a niacin flush, but at this age there are so many

transient issues and assaults on the body by unknown food additives it seems like a full day with none of them would be a vacation.  Glad it was over quickly.

I have never heard of that before.

Glorious pictures. I always love to see your photography. Dear, are you sure that you need all those Vitamin supplements? Sometimes they can be more than the body needs can stay in the liver or you are doing the most expensive pee in town. Talk to your dr about them. I know that you are a healthy eater.

Beautiful, beautiful pix! We get them here. Or rather, we did get them here. The endless fires have stopped that for now. We get our best sunsets in Winter. Yes, when I took a lot of supplements I would experience the niacin issue. I ended up cutting them into small pieces, taking only a bit at a time if I recall correctly.

Oh my!  The photos are so beautiful!  Thank you so much for sharing them.  I do hope you feel good today.  I've learned something new because I had never heard of this before.  Thank you for sharing this information.  I hope you have a good day.  It's raining here in Cleveland today.

Side effects from too much at the same time? Photos are beautiful, btw!
