Ours is the best kind! He comes around right away when something is needed, gets the job done even if it takes longer than a pro. And last time he was here to fix a porch railing, he also weed-whacked the garden patch, and Mrs Landlord sent him with home-baked cookies!

For me, it's the zucchini--cute little ones keep forming. I suppose that, like the doves, will go on until we get several hard freezes in a row.

My mom used to rinse everything thoroughly, doing most of the job of the dishwasher. When I say 'mom' of course I mean 'me.' Chores, you know...

Ciel, I hope we manage to get everything done before it snows. The peppers in the garden are still growing so we are trying to wait as long as we can before we take them out of the garden. Everything else is already gone. I'm just afraid it will snow before it's all said and done. Good Luck with your bedroom!

Theoretically it is fixed, or at least the leak is controlled, and the ceiling panel of the bathroom below is due to be replaced.
I replaced my washer and dryer with a combo last year--another story! This house was built in such a way that regular washer can only be connected at the foot of the stairs of this split-level, and the dryer only connects one room and the garage away from the washer. The 2-in-1 washer dryer makes laundry-doing sooo much easier!
