Hopefully, his mother's ghost will find peace.

I find it fascinating how Baltimore was able to claim Poe, although he spent way more time in Richmond than my beloved city.

You probably saw the photos on my Facebook. We lived in Virginia for several years back in the 80s when John was in the Navy, but somehow we missed visiting the Linden Row. Thankfully, it isn't that far away. The next time that we head south it will be included in our plans.

Wow!  This is paranormal at it's best!  I loved reading about the Famous Inn along with its guests. Thanks for sharing this piece of history.
