Although the depth of boring statements discreetly

disguise the reason, so even this may not be a valid.

CCT, It sounds like you have been teaching the politicians? They try so hard to distract with boring or outlandish words, according to the audience surrounding them. BTW my rhubarb was delivered yesterday. Will be looking for the strawberries today.

Re: I have several planters with Sweet William...they are so summery!

I left mine in as a trial and they came back pretty good this year. I had to chop so many up in the Autumn, They were begining to get the rust and I did not feel like spraying them .

Re:

I think one has to be born a fruit picker Ciel. One thing many strawberries are grown off ground.

Mmmm... fresh raspberries!  I once tried picking for pay in desperate times... made only enough to buy daily food--like ramen noodles and a bit of veg to add to the soup. It was all part of a greater adventure.

Archie has been working his tail off, I see...Boredom has its terrible way of eating away at a person.

Picking a bowl of raspberries, rinsing them under the tap, and then

sharing them with a friend - perhaps with a dollop of clotted cream.  Yummmm.
