well,

it is definitely spring here,, monsoons tornado alerts and all. blue skies today,, even tho, rain was predicted, just proves, men are well, i don't know,, haven;t figured it out yet, but  by noon, grey, then dark then wind rain, and hail,, will prevail,, grass is tall, bet 20 2 1 my father in law will be on mower within the hour. it is 930 am,, i will let you know,,,

It looks like spring is finally coming into action. It's a great feeling. I'm ready for it.

I love sunflowers. They grow to 6 feet - taller than me.

My neighbor used to plant his sunflowers on the SE side of his garage

where they got sunlight most of the day - when they got tall you could see the big sunflower heads had turned from morning to follow the light till sundown. The seeds attracted birds and squirrels.

It sure is. Flowers are such an amazing part of our world.

I have them all over my yard, and the birds are loving them. I tried to plant Sunflowers last year, but for whatever reason they didn't take. We planted them in a different location the year before that and we were rewarded with big beautiful flowers and seeds. I will have to give them another shot.
