Agreed. She was such a polite and pretty woman. I have know her and her son since 1993. Then she got into drugs and alcohol. Such a pity.
Fortunately, it is just cold enough here that if the power goes out, my two freezers are in the garage which is not heated. the outside temps will keep them cold enough to prevent too much trouble.

You're right, we as humans are our worst enemies at times...
We are preparing for damaging winds and thunderstorms this afternoon. The possibility of another power outage threatens the contents of everyone's freezers. Hopefully it will pass through with little to no damage.
