LOL. Well, the only real reason we had for leaving Florida in September of 2014 was because my wife had had a minor stroke in January of 2014 that ultimately caused her to lose her job in June of 2014. Her STD (Short Disability provider - The knuckle heads at PRUDENTIAL... who is every BUT a rock for its clients) wouldn't pay her because they thought she was 'faking it.'
We had just bought a pair of houses by a quiet private lake in the southern third of central Florida, putting all of our available cash into doing so. I had sent Judy up to my daughter's home in western Michigan for a few weeks to see our grandsons while I finished a business project. I had left a car there the last time I had visited, so I flew up to get her with every intention of driving back home after two days there myself.
Then, Prudential stopped paying her. Thankfully I had not started back or God knows what might have happened if we had ended up broke on our backsides in Florida. It took ten MONTHS before Prudential finally paid up. In that time span, we had lost our new homes with over $80,000 worth of equity in them and our new cars. Judy had worsened in her condition, and I was well over $125,000 in new medical debt because of what Obama had done with our medical coverage. We lost our Blue Cross that had been paying for everything and he 'gave us' some worthless POS 'coverage' that paid for nothing until we had spent (and paid for) $25,000, cost twice as much, and left her worse and us broke beyond imagination.
Our credit score went form 820 to rock bottom. I directly blame the lack of care we couldn't get on Obama and his idiots. With our BCBS, I could get service any place. With Idiot-care, I couldn't get service any place. No one would see her without money upfront. By the time I was able to drive back to Florida in late 2015, everything we owned was gone.
