Re: Ciel

Thank you Ciel. No the cat does not go far when it keeps raining. It is true plants come back very often from strange circumstances.

Cats like food. Cats do not like rain.

I expect the flower was pummeled by the water, but the corm or root or whatever it grows from probably settled down in the mud when the current slowed, and in a while it will bloom again. It's a nice metaphor for... something.

Re:sassyass 64

Yes I don't know about you ,but I sometimes moan a little when the sun begins to make things a bit uncomfortable , That is something we shall have to endure in the future probably.

Re: Corbin

Yes we have Corbin but it seems a warmer spell is the usual thing. Don't forget Fairs were once held on the Thames. Of course the build up of housing especially in The midlands . All those Gas boilers it must make some difference.

We've been getting buckets of rain lately. Finally, we are getting some sun...It makes one wonder what happens to Lily.

Do you ever have a really snowy winter?

I've been seeing pics from your area - floods and heavy rains.

It seems to me the rains are often heavier and more dangerous than they used to be. I hope you don't get water damage.

That poor lily never had a chance in such destruction. Your words are beautifully written. I also prefer rain over snow. It is chilly here today, but promises to be sunny all day long. What a nice change that will be.
