That looks sooo good! After all you are going through, a cheesecake and some chocolates- yes, a waffle or two, are a guilty pleasure in which you can indulge. And soon, hopefully, Wiley will be back and you two can share. Hugs, dear.

There was a time that I could have eaten a whole cheesecake. Chocolate and Belgium waffles sounds good too. I try to behave, but I have a sweet tooth. My biggest temptation is Boston cream pie.

Lovely Kabu, you need to indulge yourself sometimes just because you can. You have been taking care of child-like Wiley so intensely for so long, I'm sure your inner child is appreciating the attention and the indulgence!

Eating to fill the hole in the heart doesn't really work, but
it's what we do at times. It's one reason I took up crocheting a year or so ago - keep my hands busy with a crochet hook so I'm not reaching for a fork... Better to have hats & scarves to donate to the homeless or the Red Cross than have to hire a tow truck to hoist me out of my La-Z-Boy....
