Oh, I truly understand where you are coming from. Company really motivates me, but at the same time, you need to be comfortable in your own home. Like leaving dishes in the sink, hanging your coat on the chair, mail on the counter, or whatever, then company comes, times to pick it all up, lol

Yes, it truly is. It's not that my house is not clean, it's just that you don't realize how unclean it is until you start getting into the nitty gritty of it all. Then, of course, it creates this domino affect, lol, then the after affect is like, WoW! - this house should look like this EVERY day, lol. Thanks for reading!

Visitors are an excuse I use for getting busy straightening things up, but I also know it's a gift to myself... until I need a clear surface to set down this thing I am not ready to put away, or decide what to do with... Once that begins, it doesn't take long!

This is so true! We have been so busy with gardening, canning, freezing and taking care of the outdoors and preparing for fall & winter, that my indoors began to suffer. Got it back under control now though. Just needed to invite company over to realize that I had alot more to do INSIDE, lol.
