Moonwind,

The majority of one is a power that resides in all of us. You make good points it should be easy to exercise them daily.

I don't have the energy anymore. I just watch & observe. I actually understand why it is the way it is today. Times have surely changed. Thank you for reading.

Re: Individuality Is Underrated

Yes, I was a Substance Abuse Counselor and had to teach Crisis Intervention classes and Vicarious Trauma Courses to my peers, so the Dale Carnegie classes were very helpful. Thank you for reading.

Individuality Is Underrated

How right you are. If we were all cut from the same mold it would be a mundane universe. Individuality keep's things spirited. As for the Dale Carnegie course, my hubby took it while he was employed with a rather large company. It really is an excellent course for anyone who has an interest in business and self-improvement.

That's the way it is...the majority rules.  Work harder at promoting your point of view.  You certainly have 80% of the News Media espousing the leftist viewpoints.

More and more I don't post opinions on everything that comes up on Facebook, for instance, that I have opinions on. I think it comes under the heading of 'pick your fights.' And when I do, and see someone has commented on it, I ground myself before looking. As for disagreeing commenters, if they are mean-spirited or smart-alecky, or show no signs of actually having ready what I wrote, I don't bother to engage with them.

Re:

I agree.. but should it be that way? should we fear expressing our feelings any more than anyone else because THEY are the majority?

We can quickly find ourselves being the minority of something. Good post.

It's difficult to be a minority of anything, anyone, anywhere. Perhaps it's always been difficult. You are wise to speak in generalities. There are times when it is best to do so.
