With some 'help,' I grabbed Joe and got him back into the unit. He continued to explain that the guy inside was in severe anaphylactic shock. As he continued to blather on, I finally pulled back into the base garage and told him, "LOOK, MORON! That was a mob hit. Did even look at how those guys were dressed?" He continued to yack and tell me that he was going to call the cops, and I told him that unless he wanted to die and get me killed with his dumb asterisks, he would forget that we were ever there.

There used to be a certain 'Italian men's club' in this neck of the
country, too - and as in your story, it was better to not see what you saw and never good for your health to share... Sometimes ya can't fix stupid.
