Good idea. I typically do all of my gift buying for family in September. I do anything else in early November... and then there is that 'holy crap, I forgot about that gizmo geek' in late December!

I've been thinking of winter on the verge lately - talking myself into
getting to the Christmas gift shopping now, while the gaps between thunderstorms allow for non-crowded stores and no pressure. I'm guessing you'll make up for yesterday's no writing by doubling up today or tomorrow.
