Thank you. I was a paramedic and then an ER RN, and the running never slowed. To work in the ER, you needed to know how to keep moving and navigating through the swamp of people, prioritizing each one for the doctors. It was a constant job of 'Choose wisely, Grasshopper.'
I did that for nigh unto 30 years. There's a reason they refer to a fast walk as a 'nurse's pace.'
