As Helen Reddy sang back in her song, "I Am Woman," 'Yes I am wise, but it's wisdom born of pain. Yes I've paid the price, but look how much I've gained." There are times I wish I had lived a boring life, but then I wake up and realize that I wouldn't trade a thing for all the experiences I've had. Although Reddy was talking about the 'Women's Lib' movement, there is a lot of wisdom in her song there.
I was at a 'National Student Nurses' conference once back in 1992 and had given one medical demonstration there, and was back stage with a girl from my class that had volunteered to give a speech to the assembled students there. With about five minutes to go, she developed cold feet and asked me to give the speech, and offered me her text... which I politely declined. I went out and ad-libbed a 20 minute speech and got a standing ovation. My mouth is the only thing faster than my 'pen.'
I used to do stand up comedy and on my new channel, I'm going to be doing five to ten minute bits very soon. I'll post the links soon.
Yeah, I know... this clown has blathered on for 200 words... I gotta run for a bit. Thanks again... all of you.

Thank you. As Dallas notes, I have to stay busy or my mind begins to think and dwell on things it shouldn't even approach. I just signed up to do a weekly 750 word column for a newspaper out of someplace in Indiana. It keeps me off the streets, if you know what I mean. Thanks again.
