Those small reminders from home will give him lots of solace.

Dear angel Kabu

Blood in the urine means internal bleeding.  Are they looking for the source of that?  It sounds like they are not, but throwing some saline solution at it, to look like they are doing something.  My family had a similar problem with my father, for his last couple of years.  They never found the source of the internal bleeding, and they didn't seem to really care, because it would be a lot more work and expense.  I am sorry to say, the medical establishment regarded my father, and perhaps Wiley, as old, expendable, and not worth saving.  I know you are doing what you can to fight this tendency in the medical establishment,  but it is a constant, tedious fight..... every day and hour.  God bless you for fighting the good fight!!

It is a bit miserable when things do not seem to be improving, but of course it all takes time. You are doing all you can, take care.

I hope you've got hold of Wiley's children - it's high time they were

showing up to help you with their dad. Hugs!

Kabu

I'm sure I don't need to say that I hope they are checking and monitoring Wiley for signs of dehydration, in addition to all else, and checking his potassium levels, as either or both of those not being regulated can exacerbate his condition. You are a darling to bring him his favorites of home. Love, wrapped in hugs of hope to you, and to Wiley, dear.
