Corbin in the old days an old chap I knew always called 5 shillings a dollar. So if that was right a UK pound would have been valued at 4 Dollars read below for today's exchange rate.

Hot and dry does for a lot of the plants here, especially when there's also a wind. I don't have nearly as much garden as you do, but the watering does get tedious.
