Well I suppose the handy man cannot do much until the ground dries. If you poddle around on it , you will make it worse. Have you ever thought of getting some big pots and grow your plants on a small area of gravel. I suppose you would have to empty them in the autumn or they might split. It is a hard life for the fairy tale gardener, you have my sympathy. Kabu I saw some Polianthes corms on offer I had not come across them before but they were suppose to have been in favour once. I believe the flowers are edible,but I would not recommend anyone to eat them.
