Once we had an old record. I remember it started'Sing me the song of the Gypsies that wonderful wild refrain. Oh! sing me the song of the Gysies so that I may love again. '
Dad used to pretend to be embarrassed when we sang it as kids, Mum had said he courted a gypsy girl once. There was a sequel to this story.. What horrible kids we were. Loved the poem is that a beauty spot.?
