dancing or a movie is nice. We drink more tea these days as coffee is not recommended for either of us so we just have that kick starter when we get up.

I am ashamed to write that I would clothes shop every day. I used to buy shoes I knew I wouldn't wear so I had an excust to buy them for a DIL.

I never met friends for coffee...We would go out dancing or see a movie...make mine tea!

I remember those days. I don't have many friends to meet for coffee that much anymore. My last friend I use to go out to lunch with moved away. I miss those days.

Poor you shall I send a few vests and some unworn white pants at least you will know you are fashionable in an olde English manner. Once after the war my Uncle gave Dad a block of ice cream. We all gathered round but when the wrapper was off, the ice cream was brown. We watched it melting on the lawn, sadly as you can guess, we had not seen an ice cream for onks. Dad remarked on it to the Uncle . Of course it was something unheard of a coffee ice cream.
