Cars truly do have a mind of their own...A poem that very well captures emotions.

Re:
Well two of Archie's neighbours, he did cleaning and the garden. Both have passed on at the same time. The old Chap F.I.l drank too much developed dementia so it was inevitable. He died on his birthday his deceased wife's also. Archie was always a bit worried the F.I.L was overheard by him saying that's my S.I.L I shall outlive him.

ReSam:
These small new cars are like Meccano Sam I am hanging on to my four wheel drive old type. Trouble is he goes so slow and cars keep overtaking. A steady old driver though and if my car has a prob he can fix it.

Archie did not know RP . I did not want too catch pnuemonia, help folk when they are alive if one can. My brother was a mechanic but the new cars are strange to him. I do not know about intellect RP. You are way ahead of me.

Sorry about Archie's FIL. That was interesting how you and Arthur escaped after the church service. Great poem, and it took quite some intellect to write it, I would bet!

Having car troubles is even worse on the way to a funeral,
or a wedding I suppose. Solemn occasions often leave me with the urge to make jokes and lighten the mood, but so far I haven't messed up. Hugs to your family...

Another remarkable poem, of a complexity that would require more time and effort to analyze than I can devote to it! But it's definitely one for the 'Collection'...

I am thinking that the FIL's death is a blessed relief for him as well as the family. When it is time it shouldn't be sad so much as a celebration of life.
