He gets paid to help: he is an assistant carpenter at TheaterWorks. And he has other opportunities. Tonight, in fact, he is working with and training some clowns for an upcoming variety sort of show.

You are going to need to rest tomorrow and I am glad and proud that Charlie has done a good job of his part.
Long dialogue is not popular these days. My play had two large dialogues well not that long but that ws the only criticism that I ever received ...but they were from those that had to give them. But yes short sentences with lots of meaning is what is wanted.
