the difference between you and me is he is the president and should know the facts before spouting them out as in most cases they are full of lies

I've done that a few times, but I usually learn a lesson from it.

It is amazing to me that he has such a large, faithful following.

Re: Naut
I'm afraid I don't see him becoming any different. But, am a firm believer in thinking that everyone does the best they can with their own special set of circumstances.....meaning like "until you walk in his shoes....".

With Trump, I think that is how he views the world. He is not grounded in reality. Throw in that he is extremely blunt, and we have a chaotic presidency right now.
Certainly, other presidents have made dubious claims (i.e. Bush declaring the Iraq War won, Obama saying one could keep their insurance plan one liked it), but they did not do so with the frequency or the bluster of Trump. Trump has created a lot of chaos.

Trump blurts out anything that comes to mind. We all have strange ideas at times but know better than to voice them. He's like a leaky tap, and he'd better have a plumber look after it pretty damn soon...

The relationship of the cable news and other media to the president
is roughtly the same as that of barnyard flies on manure.

The thing is Taps, yes, we all make mistakes. Most people admit to them and stop saying it. Trump however, has created a new term called alternative facts. Or in other words, lies he proposes are truths knowing they are not. He continues to argue the point of having the most electoral votes which is not true. He cites terrorists attacks that don't exist or were committed by christians not muslims. He continues to lie about everything he has said even if presented with the evidence. And the list goes on and on...
The man suffers from dementia. Do we as a nation want someone running our country who suffers from it? Can we afford it?

He would be better served to speak in facts only! His ego probably won't allow for it, though! sam

I personally believe that a leader as World noticed as the USA President cannot be just laughed along with when he opens his mouth and not just dubious claims but lies fall out. A country that I have no interest in defending or having anything to do with, Iran, has said that This President epitomizes every thing that his people and indeed millions even a billion people around the World have continued to say for years about the USA. That has proven them true. I want to weep. I spent years in Greece especially praising my dear Americans and to hear that remark, it broke my heart.

It's a case of the boy who cried wolf, and then got elected President. And he keeps right on crying wolf, but as President he seems to think we are obliged to believe him.
