I find that my vision is affected as well when I have not gotten enough sleep. A good night's sleep will take care of a bad night's sleep, I feel.

I watched a season of that, but it is a very different kind of show. Very different camera technique, for one thing. WEST WING had a very busy flow, with many threads woven into a single fabric, and it always seemed like we were coming into the middle of the action--though things got shown later to make it all make sense. It was complex, glib, and at the same time, very naturally paced. Hectic Realism! I never have managed to get a sense of the actual floorplan of the West Wing!

I only watched a couple of episodes. for some reason scandal appeals to me more...the characters are more alive
