I know what you mean about contractors never arriving at the right time. The alarm guy I use is often two, three hours late. One time, I left before he was supposed to arrive, figuring that I would have my mother there by the time he was supposed to arrive only for him to actually show up early.

I can hear you snoring from here. It is raining again but it is better than hard frost or horrible fog. when I retire I shall not bother to get up at all. Yes one has to deal with a human those computers are far too arrogant. Mind some phone operators are not far off if one wants to opt out of a contract.

At times I've wished to hear nothing of the day's news,
there's so much unnecessary friction and suspicion generated by the new president and his wrecking crew. They're even talking in the UK about banning him there. Nice to have a working smoke detector, increases your chances of surviving... Great news, you're writing! Woo! Hoo!
