There is a lot of beauty out there to see if we look for it.

Hi Kabu

When the going gets tough..sometimes it just stays tough for so long you forget there was ever a time when it wasn't...so you either adapt or quit...never been much on quitting! Just thought I'd drop a line to say hi and let you know things are good here.Dealing with the diabetes ....has changed my life style even more than the cancer. After the Government and I have spent millions in the effort to beat this damn cancer (I think we finally got it)..I'm not gonna let diabetes kill me ! Diet and exercise, diet and exercise,etc... so, that being said, I'll say good day and go put the hay out for the cattle and get my fat ass on my new exercise bike and go for a ride...good thing about this bike, is when I hit 10 miles, thank God I don't have to ride it back !!

p.s.  nearly finished with story!

With love and respect, Ray.

p.s.s. if you still have my email address, drop me a line telling me how things with amazon are going..am considering using them also...

I like how you embrace the beauty of winter! I complain about it too much! And I have a pear tree in my yard and I am looking for a fake one to put in my tree for Christmas decorating! LOL! Your sam I am

Kabu

It sounds like an enchanted forest in which you live! How soothing for you both, S. Sister. In a break between big storms here, there was the most beautiful bird who landed in the back yard; one type I had never seen. He was black at his head, had some white, and black and white speckles, and a magnificent red chest!

When the going gets tough I don't turn inward - I turn around and go find a pub...

When we move there will be no tree within 20 feet of the house. There will be bushes and flowers and hopefully a garden for some fresh fruits and veggies.

I thought you were going to have some of the trees cut down as they were too near the cables. Perhaps it has happened, I don't like trees too near to the house as the roots can disturb the foundations. Otherwise I really like them tree person. It is fun to watch the birds I put cat pellets in plastic bottles and after making a hole in the side hang them up mainly for the black birds , I have just had half a hundred weight of hulled sun flower seeds from Amazon delivered , they came straight from a mill and smell yummy. Do you have blue tits they seem to have a good survival rate here and gold finches. There are two Red Kites always hovering around but the never seem to land. I think the seagulls that we see probably clear the streets of overnight junk food that is discarded or regurgitated. Chin up.
