I remember parties that began Saturday night and only petered out Sunday morning...Of course sometimes they started Friday night...

I remember dancing. Hubby #2 went to take lessons with me
and some of the happiest times I can remember involved mirror balls, a live swing band, and being out there following his sure-footed lead while we all circled around the floor. It wasn't "Dancing With the Stars" but it was nice. Thanks for reminding me.

I well remember when I wore very high heels for everything, stayed on my feet for hours, and loved beautiful shoes. Somewhere along the line I stopped wearing them--I think it was after the wedding of my last son. I migrated to barefoot, sandals, houseshoes, sports shoes, and nurses shoes and a few pairs of flat comfortable nice enough shoes for church and weddings and funerals. I kept my high heels for a while but got rid of the last ones in my last move.

A beautiful post down Stardust Lane... Brought back memories. Thank you, S. Sister. Suddenly I was 21, and dancing in high heels! Thank you. But I have always stayed up late...to a fault! It just kills more now to get up. lol.
